FLOWERS

Seasonal fresh cut speciality flowers are grown for their long stems and long vase life, as well as customer favorites. We start early in November and baby them all winter long for the earliest of blooms for our table. Summertime bring rows of flowers sown in field that love the summer sun and heat. We succession plant to keep local flower growing for a long season for you and your family.

Although we can not out guess Mother Nature your bouquets will have a variety of flowers that overlap in spring and summer which make the most beautiful arrangements for your table. Enjoy the portfolio of the main flowers grown on our farm that are “usually” in bloom by the month.

January

Bulbs

Beautifully displayed bulbs are all the rage for cold wintery months. They bring hope and amazement to your your daily life for several weeks as you watch them grow. Starting with a hint of greenery they amazingly bloom into a beautiful flower.

January (and December) are the perfect time to enjoy a little spring and they make the perfect gift for Christmas for anyone of any age.

February

Daffodils

The first flush of flowers on the farm are our fluffy daffodils. An extraordinary array of special daffodils curated over the years. This bouquet is beautifully paired with redbud and a touch of asparagus fern. We push the envelope for February blooms however Mother Nature at times waits for the warmer March mornings to push her florets up and out of the ground.

February

Tulips

Pushing up out of the ground right along the daffodils. Our specialty tulips are long stems and have a long vase life. Tulips alone make a stunning arrangement. We add daffodils as available. We push the envelope for February blooms however Mother Nature at times waits for the warmer March mornings to push her florets up and out of the ground.

March

Snapdragons

Coming in strong in late March, our Snaps are more than ready to bloom. Overwintered and babied in our tunnels gives them long stems and protection from the elements. Sweet and stunning on your table.

April

Ranunculus and Anemones

Opening up beautifully just in time for Easter and perhaps Mother’s Day when early on the calendar Ranunculus are ridiculously gorgeous.

Faithful Anemones bloom readily in cooler weather and are a beautiful addition to any bouquet. They are the deeper pink flower above.

May

Peonies

We have invested in a long row of Peonies to help cover the flower gap in May. These will take three years to mature so look for them in 2027. We look forward to filling your home with the sweet aroma and the beauty of these delightful flowers. In the mean time pray for good weather so our first summertime Snaps will bloom early and our winter snaps will continue to give us their glory along with their ridiculously gorgeous friends the anemone and ranunculus.

June - Sept

Zinnia

We have found amazing giant zinnia that grow strong, tall, and full. We are in love with these beauties. They make for a bright and cheery easy-keepers paired with Snaps and Cosmo. We succession plant every 4 weeks to keep the plant and blooms happy and at their best.

June-Oct

Sunflowers

A favorite to many! Our Sunnies are stunning and make the biggest bouquets! Our large pro-sunnies kindly do not shed pollen and are amazing to watch unfold. These are a must have in the mid summer and early fall.
